Meet the Photographer
Hey, my name is BASIL KURIAKOSE
Growing up, I was always drawn to filmmaking. It was my first passion, so cameras were always around. Photography actually came into my life by accident. I started out just doing small shoots for friends and family, never thinking it would turn into anything more. But the more I shot, the more I realized I could not put the camera down. That passion slowly evolved into capturing couples in love, and eventually led me into the world of wedding photography. Alongside photography, I have also directed a few short films and a mini web series, which continue to fuel my love for storytelling.
What I do now does not feel like work. I genuinely love taking photos, not just for the sake of it, but because it allows me to be creative, to tell stories, and to connect with people in a really personal way. The couples I work with often feel more like friends by the end of it all. I have had the chance to meet so many incredible people and be part of some of the most important days of their lives. That is something I do not take lightly, and it is honestly what keeps me inspired every single day.

MY APPROACH

INTIMATE
The most meaningful images I’ve created didn’t happen in perfect light or posed moments. They happened when people felt safe enough to be fully themselves. I approach every wedding with calm energy and genuine curiosity. I take the time to understand who you are together so I can photograph you in a way that feels true. Over the years, I’ve learned that connection is the one thing that always shows through.

INTENTIONAL
No wedding is ever the same and I never treat it like it is. Every couple brings a different energy, a different rhythm, and I take time to understand that before I ever lift the camera. I plan carefully, shoot deliberately, and always leave space for spontaneity. My work is grounded in clean, thoughtful composition and a deep respect for emotion. Whether I’m shooting in a bustling city or a quiet village abroad, I aim to create photographs that hold meaning beyond the frame.

ETERNAL
Style is important, but feeling is everything. I care about creating images that won’t just sit on a timeline but will live with you — framed on your wall, shared across generations, or quietly revisited years later. The photographs we make together are meant to outlast trends. They are meant to become part of your story.

FAQ

Will you personally be there on the wedding day?
Yes, absolutely. I take a boutique approach to my work, which means I’m involved from the very first conversation through the wedding day itself. Unless there’s an extremely rare circumstance, I’m always present and actively photographing. I believe in being your point of contact throughout, so everything feels seamless, personal, and grounded in trust.

Do you travel?

Yes, I do. Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to photograph weddings across the U.S. and internationally, and I absolutely love destination work. Whether it’s a city elopement or a multi-day celebration abroad, I’d be happy to chat about logistics and what the process looks like.

How would you describe your style?
My work is rooted in natural tones and quiet elegance. I gravitate toward soft, true-to-life colors and clean compositions that feel effortless and timeless, without relying on heavy trends or filters.

Who else is part of your team?

While I’m personally involved in every wedding I take on, I also work closely with a small team of trusted photographers and associate videographers. Each person is carefully selected not just for their technical skill, but for their approach, professionalism, and shared commitment to creating meaningful, timeless work. We all move with intention and care to ensure your experience is seamless from start to finish.

What does your pricing look like?

Every wedding is unique, and we believe your photography experience should reflect that. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all packages, we take the time to understand your plans and tailor a proposal that fits your needs. The best way to get started is to reach out so we can walk you through the options and build something that feels right for your day.
